Let me see if I get this… A woman buys trendy clothes to impress other women, to get a man, to spend his money on more clothes that might not be comfortable or practicle, all to impress the other women again? Where do I sign up to get fleeced by this woman? After 10 years of marriage & kids, I think the game is usually over and they’re wearing T-shirts & sweats; or something similar. Who knew? Have you seen my wallet?

Stumbled across this blog on google but I completely agree with so many points you made. Beyond my own opinion though, I have my own guy’s preferences as proof. Definitely simple but revealing clothing is what they most prefer and honestly I’m not crazy about doing up so many straps and such as well so I have adopted this thinking into my own everyday wardrobe. Not because I’m hung up on attracting men (happily been with my guy for many years now) but because it makes sense and is easier on me anyways!

I thought this a was a very intersting artical. I do feel that women dress for other women but adding one more thing. I think they dress for other women because they want to gain the attention of man. It’s competition and if your competition looks better than you, you may not play the game. The sad thing is I feel if women just do what others have suggested above, don’t buy things without considering if it would be the right thing for you, they would get the man. Individuality makes one stand out and get noticed for you are. A man doesn’t want a slob, or a prude, your clothes should reflect your personaltiy and actions and words with do the rest.

Excellent article. I have things hanging in my closet I’ve worn once because I bought them without considering if they would be comfortable or really look good on me. They weren’t and they didn’t.

This is a great post! It is important to highlight your best physical asset, not just because it looks good but because it will make you feel more confident. and everyone knows, confidence is the sexiest thing to wear!

So very, very true. Especially the being comfortable in it. I have to laugh when I see women in tiny outfits spending half there time trying to make sure nothing is showing. And yes we are simple creatures.
